ABOUT ME:
Born and raised in former Soviet Union, Ukraine, I immigrated to the United States, where I completed my professional education as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I experienced many challenges in life as an immigrant, female, mother, business woman, etc. ... and I enjoy being there for my patients, who have challenges of their own. I like non-traditional methods of therapy, such as music therapy and guided imagery.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My style of therapy depends on individual goals with each client. Each client is unique. I am experienced to work with patients of different backgound, culture, and economic status. I am comfortable to conduct therapy in English, Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian. I enjoy music and I try to encorporate it in relaxation sessions for some of my clients.

PAYMENTS:
Standart fee for a 45 min. session is $80. Minimum $50 is accepted for a client with financial need. Insurances are accepted.

CANCELLATIONS:
$30 is charged for a client "no show" without 24 hrs worning.

CREDENTIALS:
I graduated from Odessa music college in Ukraine; got my MSW from Hunter College in NYC, worked for Jewish Board Family and Children Services clinic for mental health, worked several years for New York Presbytherian Hospital, and now work and live in Long Island with a private practice in Commack.
