ABOUT ME:
I am a clinical Psychologist with private practices in both Minneapolis and St. Paul. My practice is geared towards adults and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, family or relationship problems. I specialize in both brief solution-focused therapy as well as longer-term insight oriented therapy for those of you working through a wide variety of problems related to moods, relationships, physical, emotional & life circumstances. I also work with couples, focusing on Interfaith, Intercultural and Interracial Couples, facilitating productive communication skills around sensitive issues.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My style in therapy is generally active and encouraging, I am very open and collaborative in terms of planning a path in our work together based on efficacy research for your presenting issues. The last seven years I have been developing expertise in a variety of clinical settings, University of California, San Francisco AIDS Health Project, and University Counseling Centers, such as Stanford University, University of San Francisco, and Augsburg, and finally, a two year post-doctoral fellowship at the Hamm Clinic to deepen my practice with intensive Psychodynamic training.
After completing both levels of EMDR Training, I can facilitate brief and powerful work around healing the effects of any intense and painful life experience, trauma or accident. This type of therapy also works beautifully with anxiety,depression, phobias, self-esteem and performance enhancement.

HEALTH PLAN PARTICIPATION:
I am currently in the credentialing process with Blue Cross Blue Shield, and able to be considered in-network for members on a one-by-one basis. I am an out of network provider for those with all other insurances, and you will be reimbursed by your insurance depending on your out-of-network benefits.
