ABOUT ME:
I have worked with an inpatient psychiatric population, intensive probation, the judicial system, and with incarcerated sex offenders for a number of years. I currently have a private practice where I work primarily with victims of sexual assault and abuse, domestic violence and a number of women's issues and relationship challenges. I offer seminars called: "Keeping Kids Safe", to teach parents and child care-givers how to keep children out of the clutches of child predators.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, insight-oriented and client-centered therapies, dictated by the needs and goals of my client. Everyone is unique so therapeutic interventions need to be flexible enough to fully serve the client. I use traditional methods of treatment as well as EMDR, hypnotherapy, astrological profiles and homework assignments as valuable tools in facilitating the healing process and a greater level of personal development and growth.
