IN THE THERAPY SESSION:I work collaboratively with my patients: the patient is the expert on himself/herself, while I am the expert on how to create change and self-understanding and acceptance. This is accomplished in an atmosphere of support and respect.

PAYMENTS: Payments may be made with cash or check.
CANCELLATIONS: I require 24 hours' notice for cancellations.

CREDENTIALS: I received my Ph.D. from Temple University and went on to receive specialized training at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. I have worked in private practice as well as a hospital-based outpatient clinic, college psychological services centers, and a day program for adolescents and adults.
I have had academic appointments at Harvard Medical School and currently at the University of California at Santa Barbara. I also give lectures on Eating Disorders at a variety of venues across the country.
