ABOUT ME:
I graduated in 1985 from Syracuse University with a Masters degree in Social Work. During my career I have worked with individuals and families, in a wide variety of settings. For the past 20 years I have provided clinical services to a variety of populations in Maine, New York State and Florida. As a Clinical supervisor, I have provided supervision, support and education to student interns para-professionals and professionals since 1986.
Specializing in recovery from childhood trauma, Dissociative Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress, Addiction, Stepfamily, Life in Transition issues, Gay and Lesbian issues, Depression and Anxiety. Trained in Hypnotherapy and EMDR. Certified to conduct DOT safety sensitive evaluations.
Actively involved with the community I have volunteered with various groups. I served on the Hillsborough County Board of the Community campaign (1994) and the Board of Directors of the Suncoast Migrant Health Center(1992-1995). I have been active with the Tampa Bay Humane

My philosophy is: most people know what they don't like in their current situation. They have an idea of how they would like things to be but don't know how to go from point A to point B. As a therapist, it is my goal to help you travel the varied paths from A to B. There will be choices to make, skills to learn and along the way you will find yourself.
