ABOUT ME:
I provide outpatient psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a wide spectrum of DSM-IV diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, sexually aggressive behaviors, and relationship problems as well reactive attachment disorder and other attachment issues. I will also be facilitating therapy groups and support groups in the near future.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I believe that clients who are provided support in an empathic way while being challenged are those that have the greater chance of being empowered and going on to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. I am gentle yet honest, patient, yet challenging. I ask that my clients take ownership for their own lives and their own growth, but I am there along the way to provide support on their journey.

FEES PER SESSION:
$60 to $100

HEALTH PLAN PARTICIPATION:
I am currently accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurances of all types. I am also in the process of applying to accept Neighborhood Health.

PAYMENTS:
For those clients who do not have insurance or do not wish to use their insurance for reasons of privacy I do accept self pay situations. In some instances I am willing to negotiate a sliding scale fee.
|
CANCELLATIONS:
I ask that my clients give me at least 24 hours notice to cancel session so that someone else may be able to take advantage of the time. A charge of the full session fee in cash or check is made if a client cancels within 24 hours or if they "no-show". Insurance does not reimburse these fees.
