ABOUT ME:
I have been a therapist for the past fifteen years. I began in community Mental health, was later a school social worker for the Seattle, Bellevue and Mercer Island School Districts and the director of an alternative high school on Mercer Island. I am currently in private practice, an adjunct faculty member at the University of Washington School of Social Work, and the consulting therapist for Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I am personable and easy to relate to. I believe that the client should present the information to be discussed and that my role is to assist in facilitating that discussion. I may introduce interpretations at certain times, or I may make suggestions about what may or may not be happening, however I will not tell you "you are this or that." To me, therapy is a collaborative process in which I may be your guide, but you are ultimately the expert.

My fee is $90 per 50 minute individual session, $145 per 90 minute family session.
