ABOUT ME:
Parenting skills, child-behavaior problems, spirituality issues, addictions, marriage problems, post-abortion issues, anxiety or stress. All of these issues can be overwhelming for anyone. I am here to help.
I have worked with children from preschool age with behavioral problems to adolescents in the criminal justice system. I have helped parents regain the confidence (and their right) to parent their own kids! I have worked extensively with substance abuse issues in both adolescents and adults. I also work with Rachel's Vineyard, which is a ministry that helps those who are dealing with post-abortion issues.
I am a member of the following: American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA), Tennessee Counseling Association (TCA), and the National Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists (NACBT).
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My style is both compassionate and realistic. If you are looking for someone to enable you to continue in your problems, I am not your therapist. If you are willing to change, then I am the therapist for you. I will not use the most trendy approach to therapy that has been stamped with the politically correct seal of approval. I use techniques that are both sound, and in the best interest of my clients.
