ABOUT ME:
I am a joyfully married wife and mother who has worked as a therapist and pastor for many years. I have been a pastor in a main stream protestant church and have a deep belief in the need for spiritual grounding. My goal is to help clients uncover their deepest needs and find the strengths to meet those needs. My Christian faith is central to who I am, although I work with clients of all faith, or non-faith, orientations. I am a generalist, working with clients on many different types of issues. I have a specialization in helping individuals recover from grief and loss or abuse.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: Open and warm and non-judgmental. I have an easy sense of humor and most of my clients laugh often in session, even when we are working through painful issues. When pain and heartache are looked at clearly, the absurdity and glory of life shine through.
