ABOUT ME:
I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Mars Hill Graduate School, completing my internship at Compass Health Children's Extended Care, working with older adolescents. I have a private practice in Shoreline, WA and also am on staff at Mars Hill Graduate School as a Practicum Facilitator where I am training first year counseling students in marriage, family and individual therapeutic intervention in a personal and unique format.
I reside in beautiful Edmonds, WA with my husband, Jason, and chocolate Labrador Retriever, Sammie. I enjoy reading, good conversation, playing the piano, taking Sammie to the dog park, exercising with my husband, and a tall drip, no room coffee.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I primarily work with older adolescents and adults, and offer group therapy. My style is relational in nature, drawing upon psychodynamic, family systems, existential thinking, art therapy and lifespan integration. My areas of focus include relational struggles, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, grief/loss and spiritual formation.
