ABOUT ME:
I have been a licensed psychotherapist in private practice since 1987. I work with men and women who seek help for many different problems. It seems that no matter what brings people to therapy, the process involves uncovering patterns of behavior and relating to others that get in the way of the quality of life desired.
My extensive experience working with men and women in alcoholism recovery has led me to the subspeciality of providing help for adults who have been traumatized as children within alcoholic families and/or in emotionally, sexually and/or physically abusive environments.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I offer advanced training to therapists, I am a CAMFT-certified clinical supervisor. I hire and supervise Board-registered MFT Interns in my private practice and, therefore, psychotherapy can be available based on a client's ability to pay.
