ABOUT ME:
I work interactively and have been in practice for over twenty years providing psychotherapy, marriage counseling and couple counseling.

STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My Individual Psychotherapy practice is based upon my belief that every person is unique and therefore, my approach is always individualized. The focus is directed toward developing the most effective ways to address each person's needs and goals, as well as exploring circumstances, past and present, that could be interfering with the achievement of these goals.
In Marriage and Couple Counseling I work toward improving communication, helping each person to understand and express their feelings and to learn constructive ways to resolve conflicts.
I am interactive and I participate in the sessions to the degree that seems helpful. This means that sometimes I'll be fairly talkative but at other times, when I feel that the person needs space to express themselves and their feelings, I'll be relatively quiet.
My graduate degree is from Columbia University. I have Post Graduate Certification in Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis as well as specialized training in the treatment of
