ABOUT ME: As a contributing member of my community for 25 years, I have been involved in counseling at group homes, outpatient, home-based, and inpatient facilities. The combination of a medical and counseling background creates an opportunity to evaluate the psychological and physiological challenges of an individual. My approach is a dual process of treating the symptoms and the cause of challenging behavior, thus, working towards healing of the mind, body and spirit.
The client populations I serve include those challenged by addictions, trauma in the past or present, anxiety disorders, depression and dissociative disorders. I am an active member in my community networking for those I serve including teaching workshops, attending seminars and meeting with resource people and counselors.

IN THE THERAPY SESSION:Whether an individual session for a child or an adult, a family session, couple session, the client is empowered to build on strengths so as to challenge any unhealthy thoughts, feelings and behavior. The client has choices, options and resources available to be an active participant in the direction of therapy.
