I work effectively with people who are overwhelmed by feelings of anxiety and/or depression. These feelings can affect relationships with family, friends, and co-workers. They can also impact one's feelings of self-esteem and prevent people from achieving their goals in life. Often therapy can provide relief from difficult feelings and help people gain more satisfaction in life.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I try to be flexible and adjust my style to the needs of the person I am working with. Current behaviors and feelings are explored as well as the history of such experiences. Understanding is the initial goal; behavioral changes come out of insight and understanding.
