ABOUT ME: The relationship between a client and their therapist is the most vital component to the therapy process. We will take our time building a trusting relationship so that you can explore the issues that have stood in the way of you feeling optimally happy and content in your life. If you have had issues with trusting others in your life, this process understandably will take some time. I will never speed up the process; you set the pace. We will go on this journey together; step by step, in a confidential, supportive and ethical way.

IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I have an interactive style where we will work together as a team to achieve your goals. Within the Cognitive Therapy Model, we will set goals that you would like to work toward. We will consistently check in with these goals so that you feel you are moving along in the direction that you hope for. We will look at your past experiences in the context of changing things moving forward. We will look at your patterns, what works for you, and what needs to change. You will learn so much and often clients ask "Why didn't I do this sooner?"

PAYMENTS: I offer a sliding scale and will discuss each client's situation with them individually when they come. I offer you a free 30 minute appointment to come in and meet with me and person to see if you think that we would be a good team.
CANCELLATIONS: My policy is that I ask clients to reschedule or cancel appts with 24 hour notification. I will not charge you if the cancellation in less than 24 hours is legitimate - illness, car break down, etc. Again, our relationship is key in the process and this is an example of how I will show some flexibility.
