ABOUT ME:
Licensed in 1988, psychotherapy is a 3rd career for me. From the beginning of my training, I have been involved in treating survivors of childhood incest and molestation and violence. I still run AMAC groups (Adults Molested As Children), also called Survivor Groups or Incest Recovery Groups.
Other populations that seem to respond to my work are, people with intimacy issues, people who feel like they "have everything" but still feel unsettled, uncomfortable, or unhappy, and adults with childhood losses (e.g., losing a parent before the person reached 20 years of age).

HEALTH PLAN PARTICIPATION:
I am on no insurance panels or HMO's. This is a fee for service practice. Regular statements can be provided to you which you can submit to your insurance company. (I'll be happy to coach you on how to find out what your coverage is.)
About 30% of my caseload is sliding scale (between $50 and $100) for people struggling with income restrictions. Those slots are sometimes filled, but this is at least worth your asking about.

PAYMENTS:
Payment is due at each session unless we have agreed otherwise.

CANCELLATIONS:
48 hours. Some exceptions apply, to be discussed prior to beginning treatment.

(California keeps changing the designation. This is the same as "Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist" or LMFT.)
