ABOUT ME:
My passion is to help adolescents, young adults, and adults overcome psychological, addiction, or “life” concerns. As a supervisor, instructor, and therapist with inpatient and outpatient experience, I can address a variety of psychological and addiction concerns. Feedback from my patients indicates that my supportive, in-depth approach facilitates a successful outcome. With an educational background in theology and psychology, I am able to integrate these disciplines to provide total-person care. I enjoy intervening with people suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, grief, anger, premarital/marital concerns, ADHD, and co-dependency.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I focus my initial sessions to help my patients attain some symptom relief as soon as possible. Simply put, people come to therapy to feel better. However, I am a strong believer in not simply "putting a band-aid" on a problem. Instead, I work with my patients to develop a more global understanding of their struggles. This allows them to be more intentional in obtaining the life they really want.
