ABOUT ME:
Hello- I am a psychologoist practicing on the border of Washignton DC and Maryland (2 blocks from the Friendship Heights metro). I am deeply committed to my work and tend to see therapy as a journey in which a person can develop their own meanings in life, which then enables them to discover, accept, and be their true selves.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My style is often dependent on the needs of the client. At times, I will listen, at other times, I will ask questions and be quite active. I generally encourage my patients to feel free to say whatever is on their mind.

I do not participate on HMO panels primarily because of confidentiality issues. However, I do serve as an out of network provider for most insurance companies which generally works well.

I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and my doctoral degree (Psy.D) from the George Washington University. Currently, I maintain my private practice as well as teach in the George Washington Univerisyt's Professional Psychology Doctoral Program.
