ABOUT ME:
Received my Bachelors Degree from the University of California Santa Barbara and majored in Developmental Psychology. I received my Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. My pre-doctoral internship and my post-doctoral fellowship were at Children's Hospital San Diego, where I received specialty training in childhood trauma evaluation and treatment.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I use both directive and non-directive approaches in treatment depending on the needs of the client. I move at the client's pace, but work toward helping clients lean into areas of discomfort in an effort to effect positive changes in their lives.
