ABOUT ME:
Dr. Horst H. Mueller, RPsych, CRHSPP, FBCIA, FPPR, operates a private practice in clinical and health psychology in Edmonton, Alberta that offers a combined psychotherapy and applied psychophysiology treatment approach to persons suffering from chronic psychological, brain-based, psychosomatic, and stress-related health problems. Dr. Mueller has extensive knowledge and experience in the psychological aspects of illness and health problems and specializes in the application of a combination of Schema-based and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies with biofeedback and EEG neurofeedback therapies to the problem of mobilizing the mind-body connection to prevent illness, reduce or manage symptoms, and strengthen the self-regulating and self-healing powers of the body.

IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I view problems from a cognitive-behavioral and applied psychophysiological perspective. My therapy style is Collaborative and Client Education-Focused. I see my primary role as helping clients gain the necessary understanding and skills to manage their own problems and improve their health and well-being.
