ABOUT ME:
I practice psychotherapy with enthusiasm, genuineness, and a practical approach to life's problems. I attempt to provide a safe and comfortable place for my patients to discuss and work through the stressors involved in daily life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a very important one, and I work to develop mutual trust.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults providing individual, couples, and family therapy. My areas of interest include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, women's issues, and gastric bypass psychology. "
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I utilize several short term techniques to help alleviate distressing symptoms as quickly as possible. It is important for people to learn to use a variety of coping skills when facing life stress. Once symptoms have dissipated, I work to explore the patterns and possible origins of the problems.
