STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: You will be assisted, if needed, in clarifying what you want to accomplish in your sessions: the goals of your treatment. You will be assessed for any degree of depression and anxiety. A thorough social history will be taken. You will be given plenty of opportunity to tell your story, your perception of the nature of the problem and how you are affected. You will be assisted in identifying how changes and what changes in you can improve your situation. You will be discouraged from spending excessive periods of time waiting for other peope to treat you better. If your faith is an important part of your life, or you would like for it to be more important in your life, and you want us to make use of Christian princles in counseling, then you will be assisted in applying Biblical principles to the working out of the issues that bring you to counseling.
