ABOUT ME:
I became a psychologist because I enjoy being with people as they move through pain to discover the treasures they have hidden inside themselves. I believe that pain leads people to disconnect--from society, from each other, and from themselves. As a therapist, I help my clients to face and heal their pain in order to reconnect and become who they really are.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I am calm and accepting, interested in learning about how you see yourself and understand your problems. I encourage self-expression and play to help clients get in touch with their creativity for finding solutions. I am a bit of a rebel and have no interest in pushing my clients into a one-size-fits-all therapy model, but I do provide structure when it is needed. When working with children, I spend a lot of time teaching parents how to help their children heal.

CREDENTIALS:
I am a licensed psychologist with experience in clinic and school settings, doing assessment as well as therapy. I have also participated in prayer teams for clients seeking inner healing. Prior to getting my psychology degree, I worked as an engineer and raised two children.
