ABOUT ME:
I am a registered psychologist working to find solutions for academic, workplace and family success for children, young adults and their parents with a variety of problems including high functioning autism, Asperger syndrome, opositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), nonverbal learning disorders (NLD), learning disorders and disorders of social cognition.
Additionally I provide counselling services for individuals and couples, as well as staff development in cognitive behaviour therapy and classroom management.
I hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, a masters degree in marriage and family therapy, have completed post doctoral work in both neuropsychology and educational psychology (CAGS) and hold a doctoral degree in law (JD) with a focus in educational and family law from The School of Law of the City University of New York.

IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My therapy style is directive, usually short term and patient oriented. Educational issues are often part of the theraputic process. Primarily I am a cognitve therapist trained at the Albert Ellis Insitute in New York. Additionally, I provide neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments based on the writings and work of Dr. Mel Levin.
