ABOUT ME: I have experience working with adolescents and adults in individual and family therapy with a variety of mental health issues. Additionally, I have been involved in a variety of group interventions that targeted stress management,interpersonal relationship building, and team development. I have experience working with patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries, including assessment and therapy with that population. I also have experience conducting neuropsychological testing and assessments. I have completed training in the area of mediation that would be applicable to family and other related areas. I serve as an adjunct instructor at Park University,teaching Abnormal Psychology, Systems of Psychotherapy, and Adolescent Psychology to adult learners. I have been a member of Kansas Psychological Association for 3 years and I am a court-service provider for Johnson County conducting anger-management and parenting groups and domestic violence assessments.

I am committed to helping the individual, family or couple, address issues that are roadblocks in allowing them to function in a healthy/productive way. Every client has strengths that they can draw from in order to produce change and/or achieve personal fulfillment. I work with clients to create a treatment plan that works for the them. I strive to be an authentic therapist, treating clients with respect and providing interventions that can contribute to new insights, tools and behaviors that can be utilized in contributing to a client's progress.
