ABOUT ME:
I have over 25 years of expertise in helping people to work on relationship issues, health/body issues and major life transitions - including separation/divorce, career changes, starting a family or adjusting to an empty nest. I teach through out the Bay Area and am Chair of the Doctoral Program at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California, Clinical Faculty member at the Psychotherapy Institute, Berkeley and the Wright Institute, Berkeley. I also offer consultation and an on-going study group to mental health professionals.

IN THE THERAPY SESSION: Working collaboratively with you, my approach stresses listening very carefully and helping you navigate life's challenges. My style is both reflective and interactive. Developing deeper self-awareness can bring about change through understanding the meanings and origins of behavior that may be interfering with achieving your full potiental and leading the life you wan to lead. I enjoy working with both individuals and couples.
