ABOUT ME:
For over 12 years I have worked within the school system as well as in a residential and outpatient therapeutic treatment facility. My focus is working with children, adolescents, and their families to improve their skills navigating through life's challenges, transitions, and daily stressors. I also assist people who are feeling depressed, sad, anxious, or dealing with relationship concerns. Together we develop skills to increase self esteem and coping abilities to promote resilient individuals and more communicative families. Having extensive experience and training in experiential, humanistic, psychodynamic, and existential psychotherapy, I will help create an authentic atmosphere in which we solve the issues that are creating difficulty. I will work with you and your child in a genuine, respectful, and dependable way to facilitate exploration of your experiences.I graduated from George Washington University (B.A. & M.A.) and have additional training in psychoanalytic and experiential theories.
