ABOUT ME:
Director of 3C Counseling & Consulting Services, a private practice serving SW Ohio. I see adults and children from a variety of demographics. Specialties are in marriage and family counseling and therapy with children and adolescents, with particular expertise in Attachment and adoption issues. Parent of four children, including two adopted cross-culturally, and foster parent over ten years.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: -Clients find acceptance and compassion in a comfortable environment. We set goals together to guage progress and satisfaction. Sessions are interactive, often with activities to do between sessions. Insight into causative factors is encouraged while maintaining a focus on positive change in the present.
-Children are engaged in play therapy activities, with parent consultation and coaching provided.
-H.A.P.P.E.N.I.N.G.S., the only Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy program in SW Ohio, where people can find healing from emotional pain and behavioral difficulties in relating with horses. Experiential, active opportunity for growth and learning!
