ABOUT ME:
In my practice I work with individuals, couples, and families. Some of the areas I work particularly well with are: Anxiety, Addications, Grief/Loss, Depression, Chronic Illness, Adolescents/Children, Relationship Issues, Parent/Child Conflict, LGBT and Spirituality. My eclectic style of counseling includes; Client Centered, Cognitive/Behavioral & Solutions Focused methods.
My approach is flexible and varies depending on the presenting problems, but always includes exploration, insight, and support. I offer an affordable fee scale to accommodate a variety of incomes. I strive to work collaboratively with my clients, gently challenging and encouraging them to explore paths of discovery and wholeness.

IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My philosophy and therapeutic orientation are an eclectic integration of a variety of counseling theories, such as: Humanistic-Existential, Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Narrative, Solutions Focused, etc. These methods, as well as others are used as the basis for counseling to promote and encourage growth through increased self-awareness, enhanced relationships, expression of feelings, purposeful living, effective communication, conflict resolution and spiritual growth.
I see the purpose of therapy is a process of empowering individuals, couples, adolescents, and families to grow and nurture various aspects of their lives.
