ABOUT ME:
I work with seriously disturbed children and their families, as well as with couples and individuals. My clients seek my services to help with parenting issues (I have raised six children) and with marital stress. I also work with emergency responders who have experienced cricial incidents. I volunteer at the county Office of Emergency Services and with WCPR, a residential treatment program for first responders. I teach family therapy and empirically-validated therapies to graduate students and supervise postdoctural students of psychology. I am on the Board of Directors of the Marin County Psychological Association, and a member of CPA and APA. I am also on the Board of Directors of the Collaborative Family Law Professionals of Marin County. Through this practice, I provide divorce coaching and child specialist work as part of a collaborative team.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: My style is warm, supportive, direct and interactive. I take my cues from the client. I often assign homework so that clients get more out of their sessions. I collaborate when necessary with other providers, such as psychiatrists or other therapists.

I do not accept any insurance but am happy to provide receipts. Most of my clients do get reimbursed for all or some of their fees.

CREDENTIALS:
I did my undergraduate work at Stanford, M.A. at the University of Haifa, and completed my PhD at California Graduate School of Psychology (now Argosy University). My dissertation research was on the topic of stress, coping, and the onset of autoimmune disorders. I am also certified in EMDR and hypnotherapy.
