ABOUT ME:
I work with individuals, couples, families and groups, using both psychotherapy and EMDR. The most important thing in therapy is the fit between you and your therapist. Your first session with me is a chance for you to find out if you are comfortable with me and want to work with me. If you decide to continue therapy, I'd help you define what you want from therapy and then we'd work towards your goals.
If you decide you do not want have therapy with me, I will not charge you for that first meeting.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: Clients tell me they like my good memory (yes, I'm really listening), my understanding and sensitivity, my humor and warmth. I am available by phone between sessions and am very dedicated to helping my clients achieve their goals.

CREDENTIALS:
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with a master's degree in counseling. I have advanced training in several approaches, including EMDR. I find EMDR can be remarkably effective in overcoming the effects of trauma, like abuse or neglect from childhood or difficult experiences as an adult.
