ABOUT ME:
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked in the Albany area since 1999. My counseling services are directed to individuals, couples, families and groups. I have extensive experience with children and adolescents; survivors of trauma such as physical, sexual and emotional abuse; and bereavement counseling; as well as other mental health needs.
A group is currently being formed for women who are experiencing emotional difficulty due to having terminated a pregnacy.
STYLE
IN THE THERAPY SESSION: I believe that helping my clients overcome life's hurdles to reach their full potential is best achieved through a partnership approach. A customized plan will be developed using a flexible technique that may include traditional therapy, education, play therapy, homework assignments, etc.
