Joanna Poppink, L.M.F.T. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Marriage and Family Therapist
ABOUT ME: My practice is dedicated to eating disorder recovery. I work with people who want to move beyond their eating disorder into a more full and free life.
My clients are adults. I work with people who have an eating disorder and relatives of a person with an eating disorder.
For more information and to read my writings in the field of eating disorders see my website: http:www.eatingdisorderrecovery.com or see my blog: http://www.stopeatingdisorders.com
Recovery therapy is tailored to the individual and can include problem solving, dream work, journalkeeping, guided imagery, relationship work, development of talents and self care skills, academic and career support as well as addressing the symptoms and mind set that accompany the eating disorder.
My office is in a garden which I consider my co-therapist. Flowers, stones, hummingbirds, trees, ocassional visits from birds, two cats and a small dog are part of the "waiting room" experience which can provide both a relaxing and thought provoking experience before the therapy
