ABOUT ME: I love what I do. I taught psychology and counseling technigues for 27 years at NJ City University. I have enjoyed practicing therapy for over 30 years. I include in my strengths, excellent listening skills, good intuition, knowlege of many therapeutic tools and a playful sense of humor. I believe in nurtuing myself and teaching my clients to nurture themselves. Empowering others is my purpose in life. I have been married to my second husband for 23 years. We have a cat and a dog. I enjoy traveling, hiking, dancing, plays, concerts, playing my flute or the piano, and laughing with friends.

PAYMENTS: Payment is espected at each appointment. If medical insurance is used, co-payment is due at the end of each session. Payment can be either a check or cash.
CANCELLATIONS: My cancellation policy is comparatively liberal. There is no fee for a session cancelled 24 hours or more in advance. One half one's fee is charged for a session canceled less than 24 hours in advance. Full fee is due for a missed session.

CREDENTIALS: I obtained a doctorate in clinical psychology from Michigan State University, a comprehensive program that taught psychodynamic, humanistic and behavioral methods of working with people. Additionally I have studied numerous methods of working with people including Ericksonian Hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic Programing, Focusing, Gestalt Pychotherapy and Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy.
