Honest reliable and thorough guide to Self-publishing ( shalomfn )
'Publish a Book in 30 Days' is the first volume in the trilogy 'The Publishing Game'. The other two volumes are 'Find an Agent in 30 Days' and 'Syndicate in 30 Days'.Among the subjects covered in this first volume are: Setting up a one - person publishing house in your home, getting an eye- catching cover, printing your book for $2-$3 per copy and selling it for $25 per copy, creating a webiste that takes orders from buyers worldwide, selling to online bookstores like Amazon, selling books to libraries, bookstores and beyond.
The guide is a step- by- step one which realistically asseses alternatives at every step of the way. Reiss is honest and does not promote any illusions. She makes it clear that the only way to succeed in a project of this kind is with plenty of hard work. She takes on one - by- one the problems the self- publishing author confronts and provides answers which are pragmatic and sensible.
If you truly are serious about self- publishing, or simply wish to know what is involved I strongly recommend this work.
