 Dangerous Man, Don't waste your money! ( deasis )
If you've ever heard Gary Null on the radio, you would know that he espouses beliefs about AIDS, anti-depressive meds, mercury fillings, etc. which are so out there that I find it unbelievable that this man has an audience anywhere. Don't waste your time or your money on this book!

 stupid waste of money
the book isn't that good; get the Doctor's Book of Home remedies Instead. The information is vague, and the index is set up for herbs instead of ailments. Isn't the book supposed to tell you which herbs fix which ailments? not easy to look things up.

 Compulation of the best available in health knowledge ( knowthename )
This book is outstanding at addressing verifiable good alternative health practices and omits all of the fads and unreliable methodologies to give sound advise that works. Superb book and the best one I've read out of the hundreds that I've researched. Skip the others as this one has it all.

This book has five hundred pages covering various illnesses, 70 pages on the "Gary Null Protocol and testimonials" and finishes with another 130 pages on various treatments which is mostly more testimonials. There is no section on nutrients and what they do or dosages (sometimes the illness sections do mention dosage for some nutrients).
Largely this book depends on whether or not you trust and believe Gary Null. (there are no actual references as to where he obtained any of this information, no references to studies) If you trust Mr. Null then this is a highly readable book. And may be one of the best resources for a non-technical person.
But if you are looking for a reference book to further your knowledge of nutrition this probably isn't the best choice of book.
I do recommend this book (despite the low rating I've given it), the information (what little there is) appears to be good. And it certainly should rate highly for the "readability" factor. This book really shouldn't be sold for more than about $10.

The Complete Encyclopaedia of Natural Healing (revised)
This is a fabulous book however I have to say that the quality of the paper in the revised edition is not of the same quality as the original and also the print is too darn small for older people to enjoy reading. Enough said - the book is essential to all who are interested in natural healing.
