Good explanation of basics ( meo )
For those who like pictures with their tech explanations, this is a really good book to have. I recommend it to my clients (usually older adults) who want to understand a bit more about how their computers work.

windows xp book
I know very little about computers so this book was a great help to me. I like the full color and step by step instructions. This book was very easy to understand and follow.

Great resource for new computer users ( jim_didonato )
I purchased this book for my dad, as he just got a computer, and he wanted a book to show him some basic computer functions. Though I have not used this book myself, he says the visual teaching is great for him. The big plus is that the book is taking much of the tech support and training burden off of me, so I whole heartedly recommend this title.

Teach Yourself Visually Windows XP
I feel that I am somewhat computer illiterate, and this book was recommended to me. It is great - mainly because the visuals help point you in the right direction.

Clear, concise, easy to use ( mrswally )
Although we make extensive use of laptops in our photography business, I am learning many new things that I can do with Windows XP to make our laptops run better and faster and to access programs more quickly. This wonderful little book is very clear, with illustrations that are easy to see and follow. Highly recommended.
