Beautiful book !
This is a beautiful book that gives a fantastic insight into the power of Shakti, the divine goddess, manifest in every woman. Every woman ought to read this book to realize that they are nature's divine gift to mankind and respect themselves ! The author has a solid understanding of ancient Indian medicine, Ayurveda, that convinces,educates and broadens the perspective of the readers of the way they view their health and lifestyle.

There is so much in this book worth praising!
But as a student of Swamini Mayatitananda's (we affectionately call her "Mother"), I mainly wanted to say that Mother's voice & healing presence really come through the writing: the content and style are so warm and endearing (the photo on the back cover could not be more appropriate!) that a palpable tenderness is carried throughout the book and I literally feel nourished each time I read a passage.
I also really appreciate the hand-drawn illustrations & all the personal anecdotes from the life of Swaminiji and from the lives of those who have reclaimed their health & power to heal through the knowledge & wholesome practices/remedies/rites/recipes that are presented so beautifully in this book.

I was most assured to find the rare topics of Caring for the Sacred Yoni and Menarchial Rites of Passage for our Daughters!!! And all practices described are based in Nature & the profound wisdom of the Vedas.
