After reading the book, I signed up for training in Brent Baum's technique and was dazzled by its simplicity and effectiveness. While I found the book to be redundant frequently, it was well worth overlooking the repetitions. He documents successful case histories with heart warming stories. His technique (Holographic Memory Resolution) is simple and easy to use, and he explains it step-by-step.

It is already in use by many doctors and therapists. When it is widely adopted I believe the majority of disease (dis-ease) will be eliminated. Many of his clients' bodies created disease and chronic pain as a result of their traumas during childhood.

HMR Technique ( mail14810 )
Holographic Memory Resolution is a new body-mind technique which allows expedient access to past memories and complete resolution of the painful emotions associated with these events without having to "re-live" such experiences and without affecting historical memory. This technique is profoundly empowering to the survivor of trauma. This book is very detailed as to how HMR came about through Brent Baums work with over 12,000 patients.

This book is suited to practitioners, healers or anyone experiencing pain due to trauma as it gives great detail to the technique and background.

The most often comment from readers it that this is the Missing Piece between the movie "The Secret" and the technical explination in the movie "What The Bleep Do We Know?"

Brent's new book Living As Light is more for the every day reader who wishes to know more about HMR and apply it in their own life.

I suggest reading Living As Light and follow that book with The Healing Dimensions.
