I listened to the audio cassettes in 1995 while driving across the everglades. I was in my early 30's and struggling. Without being too dramatic I will tell you it did change my life. More specifically it changed my relationship with money and how I thought about money. There is one particular piece of the story where a man applying for a job is almost rejected because he is asking too low a salary. The inability to negotiate and the low salary expectation casts doubt on the business owner. More to this in the story...
If you are looking for specific methods and formulas for earning wealth this is probably not a good resource.
I would say this is a good resource for someone of any age who is trying to break out from the "money is scare" / penny pinching approach to life.

 It teachs wrong ideas!!
It takes more than the desire and imaginary numbers to be rich. Skills are also needed to be successful. I have seen many who are successful with the desires and skills. Also, I have seen many who are failed with the desires and imaginary numbers but without skills. The book told readers that "Be still, and knew that I am God" as a secret of happiness. It is not a secret of happiness, it is a recipe to be a mad man.

This is where the real driving force lies

Without the drive to be able to jump out in the abyss,well nothing you know or do will take you to your dream.
this book hwelped see that I am the one who eventually puts the "worth" on my value- not a comforting fact, specially if like the heroe of the story, you see the millionare gentleman looking down at you with that exression of pity and saying.. "that really low"... but then again, if our mindsets are limited and our notion of prosperity is 2.5 x your regular income, then thats what you are most likely to get.
I congratulate the reveiwer who said that the book helped him achieve a 6 figure income in 8 months... I wish I could say the same, but do not expect a 100% guaranty on anything in life.. maybe its true that we have to jump out, crash, have our bones heal again and jump again.. scary??, you bet!

Great Financial Wisdom
This is a great book about learning how to change your life for the positive. It is simple but profound.
