Product Description
This best-selling novelty series for the youngest reader features a variety of intriguing and pleasing textures. The four new titles-ABC, 1-2-3, Animal Colors, and Shapes-are not only great fun, but also terrific introductions to important early-learning subject areas. Sturdy pages, interesting textures, simple text, and bright pictures make these books ideal for parent and child to share.

Fun for the baby
Along with "Touch and Feel Pets" and "Touch and Feel Bathtime," this is one of the better books in the "Touch and Feel" series. The book offers a variety of textures, such as sandpaper to illustrate the adjective "rough" and some type of gooey substance to show "sticky." Other adjectives include "slippery" and "bumpy." All of the books in this series feature photographs rather than drawn illustrations.

good buy ( lisha74 )
I like the touch and feel aspect of the book. Unfortunately it was not done on each page.

great textures
I was looking for book with lots of textures for my son.
He loves to touch the different surfaces and this was a great book.
The colors are very vivid and there are lots of things to touch (scratchy, soft, silky, etc.).

Repetitive
The book has great colors but the textures are practically the same for the fish, the snake & the star fish. The sand castles are sandpapery & the cherry pies are sticky which are fun. Otherwise, Touch & Feel Farm is a much better book out of the two.

A magical beginner book!
I bought this book for my baby when he was 6 months old and he still shows the same excitement for it now at 12 months! In the beginning, I taught him to touch and feel the shapes and textures. Now he does it on his own and loves to turn the pages to see what's next. He especially loves the firefighter and "sticky cherries!" He enjoys the simple and colorful quality of the book. Since he's still too young and impatient for a story, this book is great. A great starter book for any baby and encourages conversation between the parent and child.
