This is a must have!
If you spend time in traffic, this is a must have. Classic 5 to 10 minute segments will get you thinking about improving almost anything you are doing... work, raising kids, relationships, fixing up your house. Perfect for the curious mind or one stuck in a rut. Even my 11 year-old thinks it is interesting to listen to!

I got the item for my husband for his birthday. Amazon created a duplicate order and cost us almost $120 in over draft fees because of THEIR duplicate order error. They will NOT address the fees at all. It took almost a month and a lot of fighting to even get back the purchase price of their duplicate order!

I love this CD audiobook. There is a lot of insight that "successful" business men/women should know about that are mentioned. I highly recommend this item!

Nightingale recorded Lead the Field back in the 1980s. As such, when you listen to it you will first hear that the audio quality is quite awful. But do your best to listen his words, because they are extremely motivating. Nightingale gets you thinking about your goals and your attitudes.
A lot of what he tries to convey to the listening is self-empowerment. You may try to make up excuses as to why you are not successful, such as your family's background. Nightingale will inspire you to create goals and to remind yourself that your attitude determines a lot. These sound like simple concepts, and they are, but most people don't spend anytime thinking of them, or they think about them a lot but not in the right way. They see a goal as being unachievable and give up. Nightingale explores these topics and gives us memorable facts and fables.
Teachers should hand out Lead the Field to every high school senior, it is that good.
I highly recommend this audiobook. I'm sure that I will return to it when I need a good kick to get me back on track with my goals.

Worth every penny
I have just started listening to "Lead the Field" and am only a few chapters into it. So far I hang on every word. This is my 2nd book by Earl Nightingale - the first was "The Strangest Secret". Simply delighted with both. He has an engaging, captivating way of sharing his inspiring words. I would recommend it to anyone.
