Product Description
Introduction to Counseling provides an overview of counseling and the helping professions from the perspective of art and science. The second edition has been reorganized into three sections: An overview of counseling and the counseling process; developing a personal approach to counseling from a multicultural perspective; and special approaches and settings. The book stays true to its original focus by using the concept of art and science as a unifying theme. The new edition also revisits the topics of multicultural counseling and diversity issues such as gender, culture, and sexual orientation in each chapter, communicating how multiculturalism can be integrated into all aspects of counseling rather than being viewed as a separate entity. For anyone interested in counseling and related issues.

Great!
I got the book it about a week from the day I ordered it and the seller even took the time to email when once the book was sent. The book was in great condition. I was very happy and would for sure buy for this seller again!

Not a good book ( jessmegh )
I agree with a previous review that stated Corey wrote a better book that outlines theories of counseling...the Corey book is great compared to Nystul. This book just wasn't interesting, it didn't explain things in much detail, it was just very dissappointing. I found myself referring to other textbooks (such as Corey) for better information, and that is unacceptable.

Customer very displeased with result ( mdwitt2000 )
Seller violated terms of shipping, didn't ship himself as advertised from CA but contracted with another seller in NY. Shipped 5 days after deadline. Result 3 week delay from order to receipt of college course book.

It was interesting as far as text books are concerned. Let's just say it was forced reading.
